Wanda Marshall Celebrates 90th Birthday at Fielder Museum

Long-time Arlington Historical Society volunteer and World War II historian Wanda Marshall celebrated her 90th birthday at Fielder Museum.

More than 60 guests were at Fielder Museum on Sunday, September 4, to celebrate Wanda Marshall’s 90th birthday. Family, friends, and Arlington Historical Society members were in attendance; guests enjoyed refreshments, birthday cake, and festive decorations. Framed photos of Wanda were displayed, and a slideshow with photos of her throughout the years was shown. The afternoon culminated with a heartfelt rendition of Happy Birthday, leaving Wanda all smiles. She thanked everyone for coming and was touched by the number of people in attendance.

Even at her birthday party, Wanda gave tours of the World War II room at Fielder and continued to share her passion for Arlington’s history with others. She also treated us to a rendition of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” on the Fielder piano. It was a memorable event, and guests had a wonderful time.

Happy Birthday, Wanda!
