This article from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram celebrates the golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Fielder, prominent residents of Arlington. Their home, where the anniversary dinner was held, now serves as the Fielder Museum and headquarters for the Arlington Historical Society.
On February 25th, Danny Armstrong stopped by Fielder Museum for a book signing event. He shared stories from his book and signed copies, and we all reminisced about the good old days. We had a small pop-up exhibit with Arlington High School memorabilia to help set the mood.
The Arlington Historical Society enjoyed a festive holiday season! We co-hosted the inaugural Diane Cravens Holiday Tour of Homes, decorated Fielder Museum with Christmas cheer, and hosted Kringle Village at Knapp Heritage Park. Plus, our resident artist drew an impressive rendering of Fielder Museum for her annual Christmas card!
