On April 4, 1987, Richard Greene became the Mayor of Arlington, ultimately serving five terms until 1997.
On March 28, 2000, the skies above North Texas unleashed a fury of severe weather, spawning F3 tornadoes that tore through Fort Worth, Arlington, and beyond.
