This 1907 Arlington Commercial Club ad touted the town’s amenities and its vision for the future.
By the early 1900s, Arlington was a growing town that had reached 4,000 people and was poised for future growth. She offered an abundance of amenities, including: railroad and interurban service, outstanding schools, plentiful housing and employment opportunities, one of the best cotton markets in the Southwest, and an established newspaper. All of this was set within an ideal location between Fort Worth and Dallas.
