The South Street Art Festival is the longest-running fine arts festival in Arlington. Established in 2013, the event reached a major milestone when Mayor Jim Ross proclaimed April 6, 2024, as South Street Art Festival Day honoring its 10th anniversary.
Founded by local artist Steve Moya—who has been creating everything from detailed pencil drawings to bold acrylic paintings for over 30 years—this three-day festival showcases nearly 100 local, regional, and national artists across over a dozen categories.
Held along South Street in the heart of Downtown Arlington, the event has grown to include live music and food vendors, attracting thousands of visitors each year. The festival truly embodies creativity, craftsmanship, and community, providing a unique space where artists and art-appreciators intersect.
