I was recently interviewed by a graduate student at the UTA School of Social Work for their ‘Community and Administrative Practice’ course. Though not an expert on these topics, the interview provide me with a chance to reflect on Arlington—it’s strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement. Below is our interview.
Lee Shepherd, an icon of motorsports, was a drag racer who called Arlington home.
Information about Arlington homes with historical significance, from a July 1992 article in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Some of these structures are still standing and a few aren’t, while others have been repurposed. Such is life.
Isaac Lafayette Hutcheson, a notable merchant and one of the charter members of the Arlington Masonic Lodge, died on July 12, 1904. He was buried at Arlington Cemetery.
