On April 11, 1994, the Texas Rangers played their first regular season game at The Ballpark in Arlington, their new home since the team began playing at Arlington Stadium (formerly Turnpike Stadium) in 1972.
Though I’m not too familiar with her music, and she definitely has no idea who I am, we do have something in common: we were both born in Arlington and almost on the same day—albeit seven years apart. She was born on April 10; myself on April 12.
