Dreaming in the American Dream City: What would I like to see in Arlington?

I recently thought about what I would like to see in Arlington. It’s more than better roads, safer streets, fewer unhoused, lower taxes, or proper education—we all want those things. These things go above and beyond the necessities to showcase the best we have to offer.

Sullivan’s Brewing Company – Black Marble Stout

One of my best beer finds in recent times has been the Black Marble Stout from Sullivan’s Brewing Company in Kilkenny, Ireland. Obviously, I had to try it, as stout is my favorite beer—and how often do you find a brewery with your surname and from your mothership? Besides, when you can’t visit Ireland, you must bring Ireland to you.

Danny Armstrong: An Afternoon of Rearview Reflections

On February 25th, Danny Armstrong stopped by Fielder Museum for a book signing event. He shared stories from his book and signed copies, and we all reminisced about the good old days. We had a small pop-up exhibit with Arlington High School memorabilia to help set the mood.
