When visiting an unsustainable paradise
One must frolic in the soft waves
To find out for themselves
The sweet taste of a bitter hellbroth
That bubbles and simmers in a cauldron
A hazy orb spies from above
Emboldened by the seduction
It observes what we’re doing —
Such criminality should be outlawed
Instead, its depths are explored
As we frolic in the glitz
In a nondescript Eden —
Of voluminous curiosity
We’re ambivalent passengers
In an expandable minstrel.
Shadows of a pale sun sparkle on the water.
