A gray mid-October morning
Overcast sky, void of color
Gray asphalt snakes the land
Sky and ground blend together
Gray road leads to a gray office building
Gray carpet offers its scratchy comfort
Gray cubicle walls that constrict
Gray ceilings with no compassion
Overcast gray morning in fall
Where are the pretty colors?
Summer is a faded memory
Winter looms in the distance.
A poem by Jason S. Sullivan, 10-19-20
sounds a lot like the weather here!
