Remember the sky we saw that night
Where the stars were ablaze with light
The worries that slowly melted away
And gave us hope for one more day
Meet me at the edge of the sky
Don’t be late, and don’t ask why
Let’s go where the truth is kept
And where fragile lies are swept
Memories creep back into my mind
Shows me what I have yet to find
It’s never too late to start over again
And set sail for what might have been
Warm drops of rain fall to the sand
Quenching the thirst of the dry land
Our barren Earth accepts the gift
As the winds of change start to shift.
A poem by Jason S. Sullivan, 08-01-20
I really like this! Especially, “Meet me at the edge of the sky
Don’t be late, and don’t ask why”

Glad you enjoyed it, Craig! Now that you mention it, I like that line too.
