Alone with a simple thought
And trophies hidden away
Trade it all for another shot
If I survive one more day
I got what I wanted
Now trapped in a hole
It’s all too haunted
And taking its toll
Cast me away from here
Unable to live this lie
Unlock this mortal fear
Free me to the sky
Take this cover from my eyes
So I can see past the glare
Remove my thin disguise
Allow me to breathe fresh air
We cannot find what is lost
Even when it’s in our sight
Once you thaw from the frost
Use your wings to take flight.
