The void that I cannot fill
Not even with a little pill
There’s a scar in my mind
It’s buried too deep to find
I didn’t ask for this fate
But I sure took the bait
A game without a score
Leaves me wanting more
The trap is set, truth be told
If only you weren’t so damn bold
Neither going down without a fight
Come and find me in the night
I wonder aloud, “Are you close?”
Or should I take another dose?
Will I slip away around the bend?
Who’s chasing who, asks the wind
I dare you to find my in this maze
Look deep in the forsaken haze
You need me more than I need you
A deep cut bleeds a new point of view.
