I wanted to commit one last crime
It had to be big and bold this time
I’d steal the moon, stars, and sun
I’d steal them all just for the fun
I formed my plan and was ready to steal
Now was the time to hatch out the deal
But how would I steal something so grand?
It had never been done before, not by hand
The idea flickered and soon went cold
It was too much to steal, all that gold
My needs were met, I had no desire for more
Let others search the sky to dream and explore.
